TV3 Ghana used the Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageantry to educate viewers on a number of issues. One section of the Grand Finale was the Question and Answer part. Teiya was asked if rapists should be castrated and her response was a technical one.
According to Teiya, it would not be right to insist that all rapists should castrated because some are males and others are females.
Teiya further recommended that punishments metted for the offenders should be harsher. She preferred life sentences to castrating the male rapists. She added that,rapists are also humans and should not be castrated like animals.
TV3 Ghana reposted the answer of Teiya on its heavily followed social media platform.
Many Ghanaians have congratulated Teiya for emerging as Queen of the contest.
Teiya has also been advised to take note that humans must be kind to animals as they also have their rights not to go through the castration process.
