Over the weekend, Ghanaians thronged the National Theatre to witness another memorable moment of the annual beauty pageant show, Ghana’s Most Beautiful hosted by TV3.

Five beautiful ladies battled it out on the stage and they showcased their talent to the judges and the audience, where Tung-Teiya Dahamani was adjudged the winner. Since its inception in 2007, Ghana’s Most Beautiful Beauty pageant has groomed many young women to become role models.

The Northern Region representative Teiya Ayisha won the crown, cash and car of 2022 Ghana’s Most Beautiful competition.Teiya won the hearts of the judges and audience with her responses to the one-on-one question session. Co-host Cookie Tee asked her whether rapists should be castrated.

In her response, the intelligent queen said there are two types of rapists, male and female, so castration can’t be applied. However, rapists should be given lifetime punishment in prison for hard labor to work on farms and increase agricultural production.

She was followed closely by Aiko from Oti Region, who took second place, with Central Region’s Asiedu coming in third place.

Teiya took home Ghc10,000 cash, one year’s supply of GTP fabric, Ghc20,000 medical insurance and spa treatment, a new techno phone, all-expense paid international trip and hampers from sponsors.

Well, a video has been making rounds on TikTok where Teiya was being prophesied to in a church regarding her journey as a Queen. The man of God called her Teiya out from the congregation and prophesied to her that Ghana was going to honour her in a big way. This has made many people conclude that her prophecy has been fulfilled.

Even though some people believe her father’s influence made her win, its clear she is an experienced Queen. Now before you ask, Tung-Teiya Dahamani is allegedly the daughter of Mr. Alhassan Dahamani. He is a Ghanaian politician and member of the Sixth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana, representing the Tamale North Constituency in the Northern Region. He is a Muslim married with three children.
