Midfield maestro Casemiro was one of the high profile summer signings for Manchester United. The midfielder signed from Real Madrid cost the Red Devils a figure close to 80 million euros.
It was expected that a player of such class would walk into the starting line up of the Manchester United team but this has not been the case so far. Casemiro has seen limited game time with his appearances for the club coming from substitutions.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Casemiro is being integrated into the united philosophies and ideas before he would become a regular starter at the club. He explained that the signing of Casemiro was a mutual decision between the Manchester United board and the Coach Erik Ten Hag.
Fabrizio said “Erik ten Hag approved the Casemiro signing from Real Madrid. The decision was made between Ten Hag and the Manchester United board Casemiro is getting used to a new system and tactical idea, playing in a new country. This is why he hasn’t played too much since joining the club.”
Manchester United will face Everton tomorrow and it is expected that the Brazilian will be handed his first start in the English Premier league.
