Thomas Partey Rested Ahead Of Liverpool Clash

Arsenal cruised to victory in the Europa League match against Norwegian side Bodo/Glimit with the North London side winning by 3 goals to nil.

One player who had been tipped to get some minutes in the game was Ghana’s midfield maestro Thomas Partey.

The Ghanaian was influential in Arsenal’s win in the North London Derby against Tottenham Hotspurs last weekend. Coach Mikel Arteta stressed on the fact that the player needed more minutes and consistency to regain his fitness.

However, Partey was an unused substitute in their Europa game. This signifies that the Ghanaian could be on the cards to start for Arsenal in their crucial game against Liverpool which is scheduled to be played on Sunday.

The Gunners were beaten back to back last season and with their stunning form this season, they remain favourites to win the game. Arsenal have only lost one game out of the 11 games they have played this season.
