Manchester United have set their sights on the right back role with Aaron Wan Bissaka out of favour and nearing an exit from the club in the January transfer window.
According to sources at the club, the red devils are ready to spend the cash to sign Dutch born right back, Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan.
The right back was a target for Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel but with the coach sacked just a few weeks into the season, it is yet to be known whether Chelsea would advance for the player.
Manchester United are currently happy with Diogo Dalot as the player has had an impressive start to the season. The player is also out of contract at the end of the season but Manchester United have a clause that could extend the player’s contract for another year.
Dumfries is currently priced at 40 million euros and Inter Milan have a strong stand in not letting the player leave until that amount is met.Â
