AirtelTigo celebrates customers and employees on Customer Service Week

AirtelTigo is dedicating this week to its customers as part of the Global Customer Service Week celebration from Monday 3rd – Friday 7th October 2022. The celebration is AirtelTigo’s way of expressing its commitment to providing excellent telecommunication services to its customers and celebrating the people who make customer service materialize.

Special activities laid out for this celebration include AirtelTigo leadership spending a day in specific retail shops to interact and serve customers, daily trivia on social media with bundle rewards, breakfast meeting with some customers at Accra City Hotel as well as giving customers exciting giveaways.

Director of Customer Experience at AirtelTigo, PeterDzidzienyo, said This year’s theme for the customer service week is Celebrate Service. At AirtelTigo we are committed to service excellence because our customers are the reason for us being in business. We are encouraged by their loyalty and that inspires us to be more innovative in our approach to serving them better. Their constructive feedback and consistent use of our products and services inspire us to provide them with seamless customer experience.

This year’s celebration is another opportunity for us to appreciate all the customer service representatives at the various retail shops across the country and our one-stop contact center who provide top-notch service to our customers. In addition, we will also show appreciation to our customers and focus on providing enhanced products and services which are in line with our purpose of making life simple.

He added “We have lined up fun-filled activities to involve, educate, celebrate, and reward employees who have demonstrated excellent commitment towards customer experience. October also marks ‘Breast Cancer’ awareness month, and we would like to use this forum to promote awareness of breast cancer, a public health challenge predominant among women in Ghana. Therefore, all AirtelTigo staff are committed to wearing pink on Friday to mark the last day of the Customer Service week in a grand style at the Head Office at Barnes Road.

The Customer Service Week is an international celebration of the importance of customer experience and of the people who serve and support customers daily.
