Multiple-award-winning Ghanaian dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has gone hard on the president of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over poor Governance.
Shatta Wale who is popularly known for having a cult following on the streets suggested in his rants that he is just delivering a message from the youth (street)
Part of his rant said; “The street is hot, I am telling you something, the country is not going well”
He chided the president to the extent of implying that former president John Dramani Mahama in his regime, performed better than him (Akufo-Addo) in the video going viral on social media.
He continued; “We were all in Ghana when people said Mahama hasn’t done anything, now Mahama is gone and you’ve come into power, they say you as for you, you are not trying. They say de3 you no dey try, common entertainment they say you no dey try, I am telling you,”
The musician’s utterances are likely to be taken seriously because he has been observed as one of the personalities in the country with strong influence who hardly comments on issues relating to politics.
