GHANA STOCK EXCHANGE
The Stock Market closed red with four (4) laggards and two (2) advancers during the week under review.
Gains were made in CAL (+8.11%) and ACCESS (+8.11%), whereas loses were recorded in EGH (-2.22%), TOTAL (-4.31%), GCB (-7.50%), and SOGEGH (-8.26%).
The benchmark composite index as a result slumped 11.69 points, bringing its index-point total to 2,488.21 (Year to Date: -10.80%).
The Financial Index also trimmed 17.69 points to 2,055.64 index points overall (YTD change: -4.47%). A total volume of 953,819 shares estimated at a value of GH¢1.46 million were traded in nineteen (19) equities.
