Jane Naana Reacts After Being Told On Live Radio That NDC Performed Badly In The Education Sector

The former Minister of Education, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang was in the studios of Accra FM this morning to have a conversation about Ghana’s educational system.

In the course of the show, the host of the program, Emmanuel Quarshie made it clear to Jane Naana that the NDC administration performed badly in the education sector. He added that they failed in the aspect of free senior high school education.

Do you really have the men and the women in your party. Because you have been bad managers before in the education sector. Example is the progressive free education” he asked.

Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang reacted to this statement from the journalist and made it clear that the NDC didn’t fail. She added that the NDC implemented the Progressively free senior education because they didn’t want the students to ‘fight’ over food. She added that it was done so well that people didn’t know that there was something known as Progressively Free SHS.

We didn’t fail. We implemented the progressively Free SHS because we didn’t want the students to fight over food. We did it so well, they didn’t know that we had implemented it. Many people didn’t know. That is how you work well” she said.
