Hearts of Oak to face Asante Kotoko for President's Cup on March 4 ▷ SportsBrief.com

Hearts of Oak will travel to Kumasi to face off rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the match day 3 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Accra based club are winless in their first two games of the season and will be hoping to start a winning streak by beating their fiercest rivals at their home grounds.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will also be hoping to bounce back after suffering a painful exit from the CAF Champions league to RC Kadiogo. The Kumasi based club converted only one out of four penalty kicks when both teams were level on aggregate after the two rounds of matches.

Speaking ahead of the fixture, Hearts of Oak legend Bernard Don Bortey has made a brave prediction in favour of his former club. The club legend was quick to question how inexperienced the Kotoko team is at the moment.

Don Bortey said “How can Asante Kotoko use these inexperienced players to beat Hearts of Oak on Sunday? My fear for Kotoko is that they should be careful else Hearts will score them 4 goals to nil as we did to them some time ago.”
