Accra Hearts of Oak have held discussions with former Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Ogum for his appointment as the club’s technical director, according to viral reports in the local media.

Prosper Ogum will also be serving as the head coach of the club’s youth side, the reports explained. As the technical director of the club, the former head coach of West African Football Academy will be supervising head coach Samuel Boadu as the Phobians intend to turn around their season.

Accra Hearts of Oak have amassed a point from a possible six after two matches into the new season. Following those results, club faithfuls have expressed concerns about the manner in which the team plays, and how some players have been deployed in the team.
