President Akufo Addo’s recent revelation on one radio station in the Volta region has caused stir online. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo gave a clear indication of his desire to still marry a woman, even in his retirement years in the Volta region.
“You know my basic position that I’ve taken, and seeing you, of course, it’s heightened it: my determination to marry in the Volta Region, and that I’m like a suitor who keeps on knocking on the door, looking forward to the day the door will be open. We’ll keep on till the day the door is open,” he said.
This has generated some reactions on social media and has even caused Sam Nartey George, MP for Ningo Prampram constituency to react to it. Sam George seems surprised with this new statement from the president. He is surprised because the country is being faced with some economic challenges and yet the president has made this new desire his top priority.
