The former goddaughter of veteran songstress and entrepreneur Mzbel, Iona has accused her former godmother of sleeping around.
Iona and Mzbel fell out of friendship two years ago. However, the two ladies being parting ways Mzbel were so close that rumors started brewing that they could pass for lesbians. Unfortunately, the friendship ended.

After their breakup, Iona disclosed some reasons why she left the side of Mzbel but unfortunately, Mzbel came out to disclose the real reason why their relationship went soar in an interview with Nana Romeo of Accra FM.

According to Mzbel, she took Iona in and decided to help her because she is super talented.
Apparently, she had wanted to sign Iona but she was already working with a label and so she decided to support her as much as she could since the latter considered her a mentor and a mother. Mzbel disclosed that Iona lied in an interview saying that she funded her video when she was the source of finance behind it.

Taking to her Facebook page, Iona in a live video accused Mzbel of spreading false news about her to tarnish her image but she is ever ready to spill Mzbel’s secret.
Iona dared Mzbel to come out to deny the accusations that she was not sleeping around with politicians and big men in power. She claimed that Mzbel slept with big men for money and other favors.
