Ghana Football Association Did Not Deserve A Percentage From Paintsil’s Transfer – Palmer Reveals

Wilfred Osei Palmer, who is the owner of Tema Youth Football club in Ghana, has disclosed the reason why Ghana Football Association(GFA) was not given a penny from the transfer procedures that were made for Joseph Paintsil to move to his current team in Europe.

According to Osei Palmer, Joseph Paintsil’s transfer was done in such a way that the Ghana Football Association did not benefit from it, because Joseph Paintsil was not a registered football player in the leagues that are in Ghana.

Joseph Paintsil was not having any card that belonged to any of the four leagues in Ghana. Ghana Football Association could have gotten a percentage only if Joseph Paintsil was a registered football player in Ghana.

Meaning that any football player in Ghana without a Ghana Football Association card is free to go on transfer to any country without paying any percentage to Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Osei Palmer disclosed this on JoyNews TV.
