Ghanaian gospel musician Amy Newman has disclosed that she met her husband in a nightclub when she used to go to the club.
The gospel musician in an interview disclosed that one of the things that get her happy was dancing. She disclosed that she used to go to her brother’s club in Takoradi when she was growing up just to go dance to the tunes played.

Recounting her youthful days when she used to go to the club, Amy Newman said, “I will take the whole dancing floor when we get to the club. Dancing is part of my talent. So it was there where my husband spotted me, he was also in the club.

“He saw me there but didn’t approach me. A week later he came to my house with his friend. So basically that is where it started. Amy Newman revealed this in an interview on TV XYZ.

“I mean dancing is part of my talent and all my children are good dancers. You would love to see them dance”, she said amidst laughter.
Amy Newman disclosed that her husband who was admiring her from afar when she visited the club to dance told her he loves her and wants to marry her.
“He told me straight that he wanted to marry me”, she said.
Amy New disclosed that she accepted his proposal and eventually got married at the age of 18. The gospel artist has been married for 40 years and has been in the music industry for over two decades.
