My SIM Was Blocked For Two Days Before I Called Operators To Register Me – Mahama Reveals

Former president of the Republic of Ghana, His excellency John Dramani Mahama has revealed that his SIM card was blocked by the National Communications Authority for two days before he unblocked it.

Speaking today on TV3’s Ghana tonight’s program, John Dramani Mahama revealed that when the National Communications Authority rolled out the punitive measures against those who have not or refused to register their sim cards, those social media has named as the stubborn academy, he was affected too.

He said he was blocked for two days by his network provider. He added that after he was banned by his network, he quickly called the network operators to register himself together with all his staff in his office.

This came after his reaction to the current directive by the ministry of communications to the telecommunications companies block all unregistered SIM cards. Mahama said the idea is not good and there could be a better way to handle the issue without blocking innocent victims.
