Massive Reactions As Former President John Mahama Drops A Note Of Appreciation On Social Media

There is always the need to appreciate others when they put in their efforts. Leaders are always advised to be quick to show gratitude and be slow to condemn their people.

According to John Mason, the greatest gift that a leader can give to his people is to show gratitude.

United States’ former First Lady, Michelle Obama, emphasised the need for leaders to show appreciation when their people do anything for them.

There is a popular adage that, “no gratitude is insignificant”. How often do we show appreciation to others?

On Sunday, 11th September 2022, former President John Mahama posted a note of appreciation on social media.

In his post, the former president recounted how friends and partners helped him and his wife to see to the full operationalization of the Lordina Foundation Maternity and Children’s ward for the Bole District Hospital.

The former President and wife felt a strong need to appreciate the support rendered to them towards improving health care in the country.

Even though former president John Mahama sought to appreciate others, many Ghanaians reversed the gesture and applauded him for his vision for the country.
