Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has become the first person to be shown yellow card in 2022/23 Ghana Premier League. The league, FA Cup and Super Cup winner was shown the yellow card when Accra Hearts of Oak played against Aduana Stars.

Coach Samuel Boadu led his club into the game at Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa Ahenkro. In the course of the game, coach Samuel Boadu was flagged yellow for dissent and misconduct.

The first half of the game ended barren as the two sides could not find the back of the net amidst some decent chances that were created by both sides.

Aduana Stars skipper Bright Adjei had the opportunity to put his team into the lead but a timely intervention denied him glory.

Aduana Stars found the back of the net in the second half of the game. Coach Samuel Boadu could be punished by the football governing body.
