The Dormaahene, Osagyefo Agyemang Badu has recently caused a massive stir, debates, and arguments across all social media platforms after he finally sent another serious message to the ruling government over the lack of development in his community.
Speaking in a recent interview with journalists, the Dormaahene, Osagyefo Agyemang Badu revealed that, he always advised encouraged his people and Ghanaians as a whole to pay taxes to the government irrespective of the current economic crisis and hardships in the country but it seems the government has taken most Ghanaians for granted considering how new taxes are introduced each day amongst others.
In addition to this, the Dormaahene later revealed that his government seems to reject his plea to fix the bad roads in his community hence hindering development in Dormaa and its environs.
With respect to this, the Dormaahene later revealed that, if the government keeps disappointing the same people who voted for them in both 2016 and 2020, then Ghanaians will change their minds, look elsewhere and also stop paying taxes that don’t bring any development to the people.
“We won’t vote for you again if you keep disappointing us. Even though I’m a chief and not a politician, I will advise my people not to pay taxes to you but contribute the same taxes to developing our community by fixing our roads and others”, Dormaahene emphatically revealed.
