According to him, the region’s NPP officials are more concerned with following the party than in pushing for development projects.
OB stated strongly on Oyerepa Breakfast Time that the Ashanti NPP leadership loves the party more than the region that brings them votes.
“The NPP leadership in Ashanti is more concerned with the party than with the area. They prefer the party to the region.” He spoke clearly.
The Ashanti Region has 42 Members of Parliament (MPs), many of whom occupy ministerial posts under President Akufo-Addo, but OB believes they are not doing enough to help the region flourish. Anyway, “They will come after you if you talk about NPP.”
He stated that the Ashanti NPP leadership should recognize that they have the authority to propose huge development projects because the region attracts a large number of votes for the party.
