
Budding Ghanaian music group, Rockcity Bongo known otherwise as the Typical Bongo Boys has announced that the “Sagl3 Concert” will return this year (2022) for its 3rd edition in December after their inability to stage it continuously in a row due to the covid-19 and other concerns.

The ‘Sagl3 Concert’ is organized annually by the music trio to thrill fans who are affectionately called ‘ Rockcityzens‘ with their indomitable lyrical prowess, and outstanding stagecraft in their home region, the Upper East region.
“Sagl3 Concert” has earned recognition as one of the most popular and largest artist-led music festivals in the Northern part of Ghana. Fans should expect an unrivaled celebration of arts and culture aptly curated by the multiple award-winning music group where they will be joining the legion of musical artistes and a variety of creatives to perform.
The concert, like the previous editions, is expected to bring together fans and music lovers from around the Northern part of Ghana and Ghana at large to experience more-improved-incredible music performances.

The 2020 Upper East Awards Artiste Of The Year, after triumphing their home (Bongo) territories and staging the concert’s debut edition there, moved the second edition to the Upper East regional Capital, Bolgatanga Sports Stadium on the 26th of December 2018 to honor their fanbase(Rockcityzens) in the region and to also collaborate with other Artistes in the Northern part of Ghana to display their talents.
Musicians from all parts of Northern Ghana were billed to showcase their creativity. Coming from the Upper West region and Northern region were Gameboy (late), Double Tee, Sapashini, and Flair Bee with most of the Bolga-based musical encyclopedias, in the likes of B-Wayne, Nambawan, Sarauta, and Ras Worms among others.
“Sagl3 Concert II” by the “Beer” hitmakers after recording a mammoth attendance went down successfully as the best and most entered musical concert in the history of the Upper East entertainment industry.
Details of the 2022 edition are yet to be unveiled.
