Ghanaian singer, actress, Television presenter and entrepreneur Diamond Michelle Gbagonah popularly known as Shatta Michy has accepted to do another song with her baby father, Shatta Wale but requested that the recording should be taken place in a public studio rather than the dancehall musician’s private studio.
This she requested because she doesn’t want to be chewed again by the musician, in other words, if the recording is scheduled for his private studio located in his mansion, something intimate might occur during the recording.
“The studio has to be in a public place,” she said.
Referring to herself as a herbivore and Shatta Wale as a carnivore, she quipped: “I can’t put myself in a lion’s den. What will I do if he chews me?”
Michy, as she is popularly called, told Nana Romeo in the interview on Accra FM that even before the recording will take place, she would charge him (Shatta Wale) $150,000.
A few days ago, Shatta Michy made a grand appearance on stage with Nautyca at the 2022 Ashaiman To Da World concert by dancehall musician Stonebwoy.
During the performance, the ex-girlfriend of the dancehall pacesetter decided to idolize and pay tribute to her baby father by displaying the “sign (symbol) of hope” which has wildly become the Shatta Movement (SM) signature in front of the large audience.
She posted the picture on Facebook via her verified page with a caption that triggered reactions.
Her caption reads; “When the Bhim crowd upholds the SM sign of hope, then that goes to show u that love conquers all💛💛 have a good new week”
The African dancehall King reposted the picture, declaring his intention to have another collaboration with her on another song like they did 5 years back on “Low Tempo” and that he is going to pay her with cash this time around but not kind.
Reacting to Shatta Wale’s post, she said on her snapchat story that “You won’t pay me in kind but in cash but if I collect you right now you go Come dey radio early morning dey cry.”
