Good News To Ghanaians As Sam George Drops Fresh Revelation About The Sim Card Registration

The member of parliament for Ningo Prampram constituency, Honorable Sam Nartey George has dropped some revelations on his Facebook page about the ongoing sim card registration.

In his post, Sam George made it clear that he has received information that the National Communications Authority has instructed the Telcos to stop blocking unregistered sim cards. He added that all blocked sim cards will be working again on Saturday, 10th September. This means sim cards that were barred from making calls are expected to fully function again on Saturday. This is a good news to most Ghanaians because they can now make calls as they still queue to register their sims.

“Information available to me is that the National Communications Authority Ghana has realised the folly of the directive from the Minister for Communications and is seeking to quietly tell the MNOs to stop the call barring” he said.

For the time being, expect to gain full access of your SIM cards starting from tomorrow” he added.

Sam George sent a strong message to the minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu that she should accept the fact that she got it wrong. According to him, the government can never block the sim cards of Ghanaians. He also added that the case is even in court and he is confident that they will win this ‘war’.
