Former Hearts of Oak Duo to Help Samartex Beat Karela United

The 2022/23 Ghana Premier League will kick start on Saturday across eight venues in Ghana.

All clubs will clash on the weekend of 10-12 of September but that will be minus the game between Asante Kotoko and newly promoted club, Nsoatreman fc.

The Porcupine Warriors are out of town to play in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League for 2022/23 league season.

The preliminary game was expected to come up in Burkina Faso but the Confederation of African Football did not approve of the stadia chosen by Rail Club de Kadiogo.

The game was shifted to Yamoussoukro in Côte d’Ivoire but that was rejected by the Ivorian Football Federation and the has now been shifted to a new venue.

The two clubs will clash at the Matthieu Kerekou Friendship Stadium in Porto Novo, Bénin for the first leg with the second leg set for the Baba Yara Stadium in a week’s time.

One of the Ghana Ghana Premier League fixtures we should watch out for is the game between Karela United who will host new boys, Tamale City at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday.
