Death they say sweeps individuals unnoticed. On the course that it befalls humanity, whether young or old, all and sundry bows to mourn with the bereaved family that has lost its loved one.
The group says they do not mourn with the world on the death of the Queen, Elizabeth Windsor.
While many great leaders, prominent and ordinary people commiserate with the family of the demised Queen and the good people of Great Britain, the Economic Freedom Fighters movement held different thoughts on Queen’s death.
This revelation from the Economic Freedom Fighters movement looks absurd to other people.
In Ghanaian culture for instance, it is believed that we do not speak foul about the dead.
It even spreads to many African culture. As a matter of fact, this is something many people in Africa frowned upon this act.
Inasmuch as the whites have done many atrocious things against Africans does not guarantee anyone to speak harsh to the dead.
The leadership of the group, Economic Freedom Fighters Movement, feel that the death of Queen Elizabeth will rather open opportunities for the Blacks, thus, Africans.
In a letter making waves on social media, the group sought to expressed that they have no reason to pay any respect to the death of the Queen since they have no tangible reason or whatsover to do so.
They said, “ We do not mourn the death of the Queen Elizabeth, because her death is a reminder of a very tragic period in the history of their country and Africa”. The group mentioned.
They continued that the reign of the Queen has been a curse than a blessing to them (South Africa).
Keeping this in mind, they see no reason to extend their condolences to the British.
The Queen departed the earth on 8th September, 2022.
