Ruth in an interview disclosed why she doesn’t want to stay with her husband again after 5 years of staying with him. According to the lady she met her husband Prince 5 years ago and they have given birth to two children. The lady detailed that she started trading with the money her husband gave to her and helped him financially. She fell sick two months ago, her husband didn’t send her to the hospital but left her helpless in the room and went to work. Ruth said she called her brother who gave her money to seek medical treatment.
She was so weak and couldn’t go to the hospital alone, it was her sister-in-law who assisted her to go to the hospital. After she was discharged, her husband told her to asked money from her brother to pay the bills because he doesn’t have money. Aside from that he found out the man has got into a relationship with another woman. She confronted the man about his extral marital affairs but he told her he has money and can date anyone woman he wants.
Ruth again said she tried to commit suicide because of her husband’s extral marital affair. Prince beats her that day for trying to commit suicide and also lies to her parents and pastor that she has committed suicide. She couldn’t endure how her husband has been treating her. She packed her belongings and went to stay with her parents for sometime but she came back to found out that her husband is staying with his side chick. Ruth said she has decided not to stay with her husband again because of his extra marital affair.The lady said she wants her husband to compensate her before she will leave his house.
According to Prince, the lady was not working when he met her. Due to the love he had for her, he gave her GHC500 to start trading but she did the work for only a few months. He thought Ruth will work hard and support him to take care of their children but she spent all the money he gave her. The man revealed that his wife started stealing any money he keeps in the house after his stepchild came to stay with them. Prince said he knows that he doesn’t have a good behaviour but he always curse those who offend him. Again he has been performing her duty as a husband but she always lied that he doesn’t take care of them.
