Raymond Ablorh, a journalist and a former Manager at Airtel Ghana has asserted that, the re-arrest of the Chinese galamsey Kingpin, Aisha Huang, reveals the true state of Akufo-Addo’s administration.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, 6th September 2022, he wrote;
“The arrest, prosecution, termination of prosecution, deportation, return and re-arrest of Aisha Huang reveals the true state of Akufo-Addo’s administration.”
He remarked that men like Osafo Marfo advising fatigue Akufo-Addo has led Ghana here now.
“This is the true state of this Government. Had Akufo-Addo not become Ghana’s president, many may mistakenly think that we had the opportunity of getting the best president but we denied ourselves.” He added.
Raymond explained that in the first term of Akufo-Addo, he was reluctant before accepting his failure and asking for a national conversation on how to address galamsey in his second term.
Akufo-Addo/Bawumia’s economy was robust and resilient only in speeches, not in the face of Covid and Russia/Ukraine war effects. Today, we’re doing worse as compared to our regional peers. He added.
“Akufo-Addo and Bawumia have failed Ghana and Ghanaians. They haven’t only performed far below expectations but have enriched their families and friends at the expense of Ghana and Ghanaians. This is something they campaigned against in opposition.” Raymond asserted.
