On Saturday, 3rd September 2022, the president of the republic of Ghana concluded his 2-day working visit to the Central Region, with visits to Komenda, Elmina and Cape Coast.
Amongst others, he paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Komenda; inspected work done so far on the Komenda Sugar Factory; paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Elmina; inspected ongoing work on the 91% complete Elmina Fishing Harbour; inspected ongoing work on the construction of an Infectious Disease Centre at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital; commissioned the Central Regional House of Chiefs building; and attended the Fetu Afahye Durbar.
Upon his return to Accra, he received former French professional footballer, David Trezeguet, at Jubilee House, the seat of our nation’s presidency. He brought with him the FIFA World Cup, which is on a two-day tour of our country, ahead of the World Cup tournament to be held in Qatar
