New date and structure has been rescheduled for the GPL 2022/23 season

The Ghana Football Association has disclosed that some of the Premier League games in the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League season will be played in the evening time.

Last two seasons, some of the Premier League match’s were played under flight light at the Accra Sports Stadium and Baba Yara Sports Staduim.

The new initiative didn’t really worked in the last season Premier League as all matches were played in the afternoon.

However, speaking at the football congress held in Prampram the football president Mr. Kurt Okraku revealed that matches this season would be played under flight light.

” There will be Friday and Monday night football in the 2022/2023 Betpawa Premier League season and the FA will bear the fuel cost ” he said.

Meanwhile, the league is expected to kick start next week in all approved league centers. The GFA has been proactive for the upcoming season in other to get everything on point.
