The government’s flagship programme, the Nation Builder’s Corps (NaBCo) programme has come to an ended on, September 1, 2022. Following that, unemployment and future uncertainties can be seen from the faces of it’s beneficiaries.
Some are going home with 10 months unpaid allowances. For the leaders to address the issue, NABCo Personnels are told to enter the private sector for employment or become their own enterprenuers.

You want to promote employment in a country where you have to pay bribes to get licenses for anything under the sun.
You want people to go into enterprenuership when civil and public servants are encouraged to show you power and delay everything at their will without any repercussions.
You want to promote youth in Agriculture when farmlands are better off sold to galamsey triad members.
You want youth to do enterprenuership when duty for important and essential machinery and equipment is rated at a very high amount while those in state councils get a free pass.
You want people to get into enterpreneurship and yet tax more than the margins fintech make, which is even capped.
You want youth to go into entrepreneurship when you collect government money and give to party footsoldiers and brand them as hard working people and therefore gift them government positions to rake money for electoral war chests.
You want youth to go into entrepreneurship when you know that even seasoned businesses can’t cope with inflation and currency issues and bank interest rates are over 25%.
You want youth into manufacturing and agriculture and yet you the top men and your friends import things to compete with said youth from countries with better comparative advantage and at 25% of import duty making the local player’s products 30% higher cost price even before margins.
Do the leaders really care about the youth of this nation? How can the youth also gain a momentum in life if government don’t design a non-partisan program to support them?
