Ashanti Region GNAT Speaks On Alleged Suspension Of Data Package To Its Members

Management of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) in the Ashanti Region have stated that, the general public should ignore news making waves that they have suspend the internet data package to its members.

The Data package for GNAT members is an initiative by the association to subsidize the expensive data package to its members only within the region.

Speaking on GNAT Hour on Angel FM on Saturday, 3rd September 2022, Amos Owusu, the host for the program made said that people should ignore the erroneous information that they have suspended it. He said members can go to the official telegram page for available offers for now.

Members can buy multiples of the 10GB data being offered at GHC 25 by Ashanti Region GNAT Secretariat,

Other GNAT member across the country irrespective of your region can purchase the internet data bundles on offer.

Communique From Telegram

In a communique on Saturday, 3rd September 2022, the Administrators sent a notice to it’s members on the purpoted suspension of the project.

“We wish to encourage members to rather reach out personally to interested colleagues and get them educated and guided before taking any action, rather than posting the offer on Social media platforms.

To those engaging in unsolicited publicity and sharing of erroneous information about the offer on unauthorized social media platforms, possibly out of enthusiasm, we are appealing to you to put a stop to it.

All official communication about the offer remains the responsibility of the team of Administrators.

Enquiries and concerns can be channeled through the Admin via Telegram chat and we would be glad to provide an appropriate response.”
