Former deputy general secretary for the NDC, Samuel Koku Anyidoho has served a strong notice to Johnson Asiedu Nketia, general secretary for the party.
In an interview on Oyerepa FM this morning, Koku Anyidoho vowed that he will do anything in his power to stop Johnson Asiedu Nketia from becoming the next NDC chairman. According to him, Asiedu Nketia’s style of leadership does not help the party. He added that Asiedu Nketia always take power into his own hands and do whatever he likes. He described him as a coward who only speaks but fails to take actions on his words.
“My so called dismissal letter is one of the reasons why Asiedu Nketia will never become the National Chairman of the party. He thinks he can take party laws into his hands. His style of leadership does not help the party. I have worked with him for four years and I know that he is a coward. If there is any coward in this world, it is Asiedu Nketia. He should come and sack me himself.”
“Asiedu Nketia is doing things on the blind side of Functional Executive Committee (NEC). I have worked on NEC for four years and I know his style of leadership. He thinks the party belongs to him? With this attitude you want to become the chairman of the party? never!” he said.

Earlier this week, Koku Anyidoho made a similar tweet about Johnson Asiedu Nketia and revealed that Asiedu Nketia want to use the ‘sweat’ of Dr. Duffour with the hope of becoming the party’s chairman. He explained this and revealed that Asiedu Nketia want to seize the Ahotor project items so that Asiedu Nketia can share the items in his name to gain popularity in the party. With these examples, Samuel Koku Anyidoho believes that Asiedu Nketia is not fit to be the chairman of the party and he will do anything to stop him.
The two politicians have been on each other’s neck for the past few months. Some believe that Koku Anyidoho betrayed the NDC by ‘mingling’ the NPP to get the Asomdwee Park constructed. For this reason, the NDC issued a letter stating that Koku Anyidoho is no more part of them. Koku Anyidoho also believes that no one can sack him from the party because he hasn’t done anything wrong.
