Black Stars Midfielder Kudus Mohammed Scores First Goal Of The Season For Ajax, Gives Key Assists

Ghanaian international Kudus Mohammed has scored his first goal of the season for Dutch side Ajax. Kudus Mohammed got the goal in Eredivisie encounter with Cambuur at home.

Kudus Mohammed was named among the match day squad for Ajax. Despite making it to the match day squad, Kudus Mohammed was kept on bench, a situation which compelled the Ghanaian to seek playing time elsewhere. Kudus Mohammed was introduced into the game in the 46th minute, taking over from Alvarez, and proved his worth.

It took Kudus Mohammed less than twenty minutes to net his first goal of the season, a goal that was assisted by Bassey. His goal was the third goal for the Amsterdam-based side as they aspire to keep all points at home and defend last season’s trophy.

In that game, Kudus Mohammed made eleven accurate passes which gave him a hundred percent mark with one key pass. He had also made twenty two passes with two shots on target.

Kudus Mohammed looks forward to enjoying playing time as he gets ready to represent Ghana in 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year.
