A Metro Mass Bus with registration number GS 5251 – 20 en route from Ho to Kumasi knocks down a man revealed to be in his mid 40 at Nsutam in the Fanteakwa South District in the eastern region.
The deceased, a native of Nsutam is known in the community as Kwame Ballack.
According to eyewitness, the deceased upon sipping coconut juice was seen falling backwards till he got hit by the moving Metro Mass Bus.
The sad incidence happened around 12pm on Saturday, September 3 2022.
The driver of the Metro Bus, is being interrogated by the Kibi MTTD on the spot of the incidence.
The Police have been advised to send the driver to Kyebi Police Station for for further questioning before perhaps, would be allowed to take the passengers on board to their various destinations.
Kwame Ballack is said to have been drunk and was not of himself for which reason might have not noticed the coming vehicle.
The mortal remainsnof Kwame Ballack is also sent to Kyebi Government Hospital’s morgue for thorough investigation.
This is the second accident recorded on the stretch in 3 days.
The first one happened at Nsuapemso junction.
