Revealed: Ronaldo Tried To Join A Club In Turkey Before Transfer Deadline

The European football transfer window has been closed and clubs can now focus on competing without any distractions from outside clubs.

One of the players who had been marked to move away from their club is Cristiano Ronaldo. The 5 time champions league winner was linked to a host of clubs across Europe as he sought to play in the Champions League but a move could not materialize for the Portuguese forward.

Among the top clubs in Europe, it has been revealed that a club in Turkey almost got the signature of the legend, Cristino Ronaldo. In a report published by Ajansspor, a news outlet in Turkey, Fenerbahce agreed a deal with the talisman. However, the Manchester United player pulled the plug in the last minutes of the transfer window.

Fenerbahce has been home for many top football legends Mesut Ozil who left the Turkey club at the end of last season.

The transfer window is now closed and Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United will be focused on achieving glory this season.
