Paul Adom Otchere To ‘Tackle’ John Mahama And Asiedu Nketia Tonight on Good Evening Ghana

Good Evening Ghana is one of the popular late night political programmes in the country. The show has been in existence more than 2 decades and despite the criticism that the show faces, the audience keeps growing with even critics glued to their TV sets any time the show is to be telecast. The host Paul Adom Otchere is one of the main reasons why the show has a huge following.

Well, later tonight Paul Adom Otchere will look at 2 popular figures in the opposition National Democratic Congress. These two faces have often been critiqued by Paul. Many feel Paul has been paid to hit hard at the NDC. Tonight will discuss the call from former President Mahama to have ex-gratia cancelled when the NDC comes to power in 2024.

According to the twice defeated presidential candidate of the NDC, ex-gratia takes a huge toll on the nation and something needs to be done about it. It is yet to be seen how the discussion will go. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Paul also touch on Mahama’s recent commentary on the Judiciary. Paul is full of surprises and might just pull a surprise on John Mahama like he did for KKD.

Paul seeks to also look at the race for the NDC Chairmanship race. The race is set to between Asiedu Nketia, the current General Secretary and Ofosu Ampofo, the incumbent chairman. Last week Paul in one of his presentations noted that Asiedu is the Duffour candidate while Ofosu Ampofo is the Mahama candidate for the position. It looks like Paul is changing his tone upon certain discoveries.

It will be interesting to see how the discussion goes. Many feel Paul is just going to create more confusion in the camp of the NDC as the race intensifies. Many on the side of the NPP want Duffour to be made the presidential candidate because he might look like an easy target for whoever stands for the NPP. It is thus not surprising that Paul said Asiedu Nketia was a Duffour candidate. Paul has his differences with Asiedu Nketia and might pull a fast one on him later tonight. The show kicks off at 9pm on Metro TV.
