Former President John Dramani Mahama, has been told the hard truth that he did nothing but attack the personality of the Chief Justice rather than speak to the facts as he should have done. The Honorable Member of Parliament for the Afigya Kwabre constituency, Honorable Collins Adomako, vented his full anger and displeasure with Mahama on live TV set.
Honorable Collins Adomako was of the view that, Mahama can have a personal problem with the Chief Justice. But for him to go ahead and accuse and attack the personality of the Chief Justice, he has a big problem with that.
“Mahama said something very interesting. When he said that we will need a new Chief Justice to repair the broken image of the Judiciary, it was a straight, direct attack on the Chief Justice. You cannot explain it in any other way. I do not know if he has any problem with the Chief Justice, but there is no ambiguity about this.”, he explained.
Edudzi Tamakloe argued that Mahama was only attacking the profession and performance of Justice Anin Yeboah and nothing else. He was of the view that Mahama did nothing wrong by giving out his opinion and comment.
The comments and analysis made by the Honorable Member of Parliament for the Afigya Kwabre North constituency, Honorable Collins Adomako Mensah, have proven that the former President, John Dramani Mahama, is setting very dangerous precedence with his judicial comments. Speaking on the Good Morning Ghana show today, Collins Adomako Mensah explained that it was very unfortunate for someone like Mahama to make such a comment.
According to him, he would not have had problems if the Former President had done that game with the New Patriotic Party. However, Collins Adomako believed that the judiciary must be kept as a sacred institution where political comments must not be directed to.
