Ghana’s young forward, Felix Afena-Gyan has made a bold decision to leave AS Roma in search of game time ahead of this year’s World Cup.
The striker who has been tipped to be one of the very best from the country has seen limited game time this season. With the World Cup fast approaching, the player has accepted a move to newcomers in the Serie A, Cremonese.
Having already completed the first part of the medicals, the move could be completed and announced on Monday. The 19 year old had several offers from Europe’s big clubs Everton but chose to join Cremonese.
Felix Afena-Gyan is one of the players that Coach Jose Mourinho has adored in his time at AS Roma and therefore this comes as a huge surprise as to why he is being allowed to move from the club permanently.
He is expected to be in Ghana’s squad for the world cup in November.
