One of the projects that past governments have lived off is the national health insurance scheme. It is one for the projects of this country that has thrived among many others it begun with on the same level.
The former president, John Agyekum Kuffuor is forever eulogized for such a visionary project. Today, it remains one of the key contributors to health care in the country and for people who can not pay their hospital bills.
Whiles talking about the national health insurance and it’s relevance, there are other aspects which becomes a problem. It does not cover all diseases, and that is also a reason why people do not value it’s use that much.
The promise to include cancer treatment for kids on the national health insurance scheme has been made possible by his excellency the Vice President with help from the finance minister.
Children will have this free health care and have the chance to go about their usual activities not falling victim to the merciless actions of cancer on their innocent lives.
