Ghanaian controversial radio and television journalist, Captain Smart has explained how much Databank is consuming from loans the country takes for developmental projects.
Speaking on Onua TV/radio Maakye program, Captain Smart revealed that the finance minister, Ken Ofori Atta is the one pushing the government to go for loans so that he will benefit from the loans.
He said every loan the government take, Databank which belongs to Ken Ofori Atta and Gabby Asare Otchere Darko benefits huge percentage of the loan. According to him, each loan the government takes give Ken Ofori Atta more than Ghc 2.2 billion old Ghana cedis
He alleged that Ken Ofori Atta deliberately present his Bank and other private banks for the loans so that the percentage will go straight to his pocket. He also alleged that Ken Ofori Atta was aiming of becoming the richest in Africa if Ghana succeeded in the Agyapa deal.
