A mother named Mercy Asante from Nsawam met her husband also known as Mr. Collins Kwaku Obeng at a funeral, the woman said she didn’t accept his proposal at that time because of their age difference but he went to inform their church elders about his intentions to marry her. The church elders advised her to accept his proposal and marry him. Mercy added that she listen to the elders advice and accepted to marry the man.
Mr. Collins promised to rent an apartment for her when they get married, he also revealed to her that he will stop the work he was doing after they get married. The woman said she was surprised about it so she went to his workplace to find out what has happened, his colleagues told her that Mr. Collins stole money from their boss that’s why he wants to stop doing that work.
She too asked him about this accusations but he denied that it is never true. Mercy again said she revealed to her husband that she has a land and has built a house on it, she asked him to help her to complete the house but he told her that he doesn’t have any money.
Mercy added that she used her own money to complete the house and they moved to stay in it but her husband started sleeping around with the women in their community and also used to make calls at midnight. One evening she found pantless ladies’ pictures on his phone, she even advised him that he is a Christian so he has to stop that behavior.
Still, he continue to date those ladies and also give the money he gets to his girlfriends. Mercy revealed that no matter the problem she was facing in her marriage, she still worked hard to support her husband. What worried her much was that her husband doesn’t want to work hard and take care of them. She too stopped sleeping with her husband because he doesn’t want to support her financially in taking care of their three children.
Mercy added that her husband left home and went to stay with his girlfriend after they gave birth to their three children without knowing where he is staying. The woman said her children have stopped going to school because of the inability to pay their school fees. Mercy is asking her husband to come back home so that they can work together and take care of their kids.
