Ex-Asante Kotoko striker, Eric Bekoe has stated that, the exit of coach Prosper Narteh Ogum will affect the club.
The young trainer resigned from the club with reasons for his exit not clearly stated.
The Porcupine Warriors have since named Burkinabe coach, Seidou Zerbo for a year’s deal with an option for another but Bekoe believes that Ogum’s exit will affect the club.
“This is a coach who is like a father, a friend and then a psychologist to these boys.
“And you know, it’s not everything that happens in this big clubs that come out.
“For you to be a modern coach, you need to be a psychologist, you need to be a friend, you need to be a teacher as well and put yourself into their shoes as players, that’s how you get to understand them.
“And within this two years, Prosper Narteh Ogum has gained this from the boys, the trust and everything.
“Now here comes a new coach, maybe the players that Prosper Narteh used, this man might not use them and that is where the problem will start.” Eric Bekoe told Radio Gold Talk Sport.
