Accra Hearts of Oak have released several players ahead of next Ghana Premier League season and the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup.
The Phobians are preparing for the CAF Confederation Cup after claiming the 2021/22 MTN FA Cup.
The 21 time Ghana Premier League champions had to come from a goal down to beat fellow premier league side, Bechem United 2-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to win the competition.
The glory was a record 12th MTN FA Cup glory for the 2000 CAF Champions League winner and the 2001 CAF Super Cup winners and the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup winners.
Some players released by the continental club masters include, striker Kofi Kordzi, Manaf Umar, William Denkyi, Larry Sumaila and a couple of other players.
One player who might be joining Tamalw City, the newly promoted club is Abdul Manaf Umar. The 2022/23 Ghana Premier League will start in September with games across venues.
