Togbe Afede comes from a place of nobility and selflessness. This is the message he has been preaching to the whole of Ghana for sometime now. His rejection of the ex-gratia which is one of the most trendy topics of the year 2022 has contributed to the recent controversies surrounding his position.
There is no doubt that Togbe Afede has the potentials of handling such a position in government. But was his refusal to take the ex-gratia part of his moves towards these higher ranks?
According to Paul Adom Otchere who attempted to defend the finance minister, Togbe Afede has the potentials of handling the finance minister position.
After making these assumptions, he also added that Togbe Afede might not consider this because of his status in the country.
Paul’s submission was not the best according to the majority of Ghanaians who have reacted to this, Paul seems to be having a lot of time considering attacking the business man.
Is he a potential or suggested finance minister for the Ndc if they should win power? Why then is he dragged into these issues when he has clearly stated that he has no interest in politically affiliating himself to any party.
