Premier League Biggest Drop In Squad Market Value Since This Time Last Year: United; Chelsea; City

According to a survey conducted by transfermarket.co.uk, here are seven English Premier League clubs – whose squad market value has drop this time last year.

According to the reports, Manchester United’s squad market value has dropped drastically as compared to previous seasons followed by Chelsea, Everton, and four other teams.

Per the illustration, Manchester United has a drop in squad market value of 23.6%. The “Red Devils” to recall last season were placed 6th in the Premier League and considering the market value of a couple of players they signed for high fees over the years dropped as of this summer.

Jadon Sancho who was signed for €85m is now valued at €82m, Donny van de Beek dropped off €13m of his €39m reported fee, Harry Maguire €51m, previously €87m and a couple of others.

Seconding Manchester United is Chelsea with 17.4% given the departure of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen on a free transfer.

Everton is third with a drop of 16.1% in the overall squad value followed by Leicester City at 8.4%, Wolverhampton at 6.6%, Manchester City and Liverpool at 4.5 and 3.8% respectively.
