Africa Will Develop If Every Country Had A President Like Him – Head Of NDC Legal Team

Many countries around the world is suffering the repercussions of Covid-19. This has been coupled with the Ukraine-Russian war, an action that has caused prices of certain goods to soar. Ghana hasn’t been spared of these external shocks. However, it is important to also know that the government has her own self to blame for how low the economy has fallen.

The Akufo-Addo led government have blamed everybody but themselves for the current state of the economy. With the cedi reaching 10 cedis for 1 dollar it looks like the state of the economic is junk as some financial rating agencies have said. On TV3’s The Big Issue, Lawyer Amaliba, head of the NDC Legal team bemoaned why Africa hasn’t been able to unify and get a uniform currency to challenge Europe and the rest of the world.

According to Abraham Amaliba it is clear that Africans doesn’t have leaders. He added that in Ghana for instance President Akufo-Addo only wanted to fulfil a childhood dream and this has accounted for the way the economy is currently in. He called on Akufo-Addo to handover if he is unable to complete the task given to him.

Lawyer Amaliba added that unlike Paul Kagame of Rwanda, Ghana and many other countries have no leaders but rather village heads. He called for Africa to elect vision minded people to high offices instead of allowing politics to flood their minds. Amaliba boldly stated that if every African country had a mind like Kagame the continent would have developed and been a formidable trading entity.

Paul Kagame has been credited for rebuilding Rwanda after the civil war of 1994. Kagame since he came to power in 2000 has kept the country together and build a solid foundation for sectors like education, health and the economy.
