Ghanaian musical artiste, Captain Planet of the defunct 4×4 has called out Tinny for attacking Stonebwoy wrongly.
A few days ago, Tinny Aletse described Stonebwoy as a fool for settling a GH2,000 debt he owed to a show promoter who billed him for his show but he failed to show up.
According to Tinny “I saw a video of Mercury Quaye, another gentleman, and Stonebwoy entered the studio, and they said I owe whatever and then he (Stonebwoy) says he’ll pay.
“I realised that that room was full of fools. There wasn’t a wise person in there. I am telling you straight, I am on the radio, yes. I saw them as just a bunch of fools. A bunch of idiots, who have been given a chance to be on the radio.”
“Mercury Quaye, no. 1, the topmost idiot. The other guy who also spoke about the issue is also a fool. And I wasn’t expecting my colleague, Stonebwoy, to join. Stonebwoy also joined the fools to be a fool.”
“I will not excuse Stonebwoy. I will add them all together. They don’t have common sense. He is my colleague, he should know better. As a senior man who has helped you before,” Tinny concluded.
The above comments were made by Tinny during an interview with Abeiku Santana after a discussion of his debt by Mercury Quaye and Stonebwoy was made on air.
Sharing his opinion on the happening, Captain Planet called out Tinny to apologize to Stonebwoy for attacking him wrongly.
“Stonebwoy didn’t do anything wrong for accepting to pay his colleague’s debt even if the story was true or false. He was only trying to be nice and to stop that embarrassment immediately that was going on at that time on radio”.
In A Twitter thread, he continued that “because of his genuine love for tinny and it’s not even necessary for him to call tinny and say i have paid your debt because that’s what brothers do. We’re each other’s keeper”.
Disputing Tinny’s attack on Stonebwoy, he emphasized that “Tinny was right for cussing out the presenter and the radio station for not calling him to verify but he was wrong for attacking stonebwoy ( calling him a fool”
Captain Planet says he’s going to blame the radio station and the host for not phoning Tinny to see if he owes the person or not before giving him an interview.
“The reason why I’m saying this is that before the interview, the guy called the presenter first to narrate the story and the presenter decided to give him that platform & gave the guy time to be on air so they can talk about the issue. The presenter can’t just put the guy on radio without verifying from tinny & allowing the guy to tarnish his image just like that”.
“The presenter and the radio station were WRONG for not calling tinny to verify first and allowed the guy to embarrass tinny live on air. They should apologize to tinny and tinny too should apologize for calling Stonebwoy a fool. Stonebwoy was just a good samaritan helping his guy,” Captain Planet concluded
He should have called tinny straight away and say hey tinny there’s a guy here saying this and that about you so we’re trying to verify from you whether the story is true or false and u can even merge the conversation between tinny and the complainant .
