73 Companies That Went Through The Audit Have Been Earmarked For Support: Alan Kyeremanten

At the invitation of the President and Executives of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremanten’s joined the AGI and Captains of Industry at the 5th Ghana Industrial Summit and Exhibition in Accra yesterday.

In brief remarks, the minister underscored that with Government’s continuous effort in providing the needed political impetus and creating the enabling business climate, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, with the support of the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) has completed a comprehensive enterprise audit of 100 companies.

He was happy to announce that 73 out of 100 companies that went through the audit have been earmarked for support to export under the single African market.

He revealed that as the sector seeks to identify strategies to reboot the economy, the role that private sector businesses can play is top on the agenda of my ministry.

He encouraged the private sector operators to reorient their business models to target the African market to harness the enormous opportunities available.
