If You Had The Chance To Advise The President, What Will You Tell Him? ; Ghanaians Massively React

Joy FM, one of Ghana’s most reputable media houses has sent a question to the general public to express their opinions or suggestions on it.

The media house asked Ghanaians to give their best advise to the president if they ever get the chance to do so. Most Ghanaians on social media have reacted to story.

However, before we go to the reactions on social media, let’s look at some factors that may call for this question.

A lot of Ghanaians are calling for a reshuffle in the Akufo Addo led administration. Some believe that the ministers and other appointees of the president have underperformed. This is because, the level of inflation in the country is over 30%. Fuel prices keep increasing.

On Monday, The Public Utilities and Regulatory Commission (PURC) increased water tariff by 21% and electricity tariff by 27.15%. This new increment takes effect on 1st September, 2022.

However, the Akufo Addo led administration has also blamed these difficulties on global crisis. They believe that there are hardships in the country because of the covid-19 outbreak and the Russia-Ukraine war.

Below are some advise Ghanaians gave to the president on social media.

From the reactions above, some Ghanaians revealed that they will advise the president to resign from his seat. This is because his administration has failed to perform what they promised Ghanaians. Others revealed that the president should apologize to Ghanaians for bringing us to this current state of the economy.

Others urged the president to reshuffle his ministers and bring on board qualified persons to replace them. Others, however revealed that they can never advise the president. This is because the president knows better than they do or the president may fail to listen to them no matter what they say.
