Former Chief of Defence Staff of the Ghana Armed Forces, Brigadier Joseph Nunoo-Mensah has told Captain Smart and Ghanaians that former President John Atta Mills was not a politician but he was rather human.
On Onua TV’s Maakye show with Captain Smart, the former military man also added that, the former Presidents are not humans but they are rather politicians. He made mentioned of the former President, John Agyekum Koffour, John Dramani Mahama and the incumbent President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo. He boldly said that, Akufo Addo is a politician, John Mahama is a politician and John Agyekum Kuffour is also a politician but Atta Mills was a human.
He later on explained who a politician is and who a human being is. He said that, a human is someone who says the truth. They don’t lie to make people vote for them and when they win power they say something different. He said that, all those who lie to gain power are politicians and they are not human.
He even added that, in 1998 he was Akufo Addo’s campaign manager but because he was not human he left him for Atta Mills.
Nunoo- Mensah said, “I was Nana Addo’s campaign manager in 1998. I toured the whole country with him. I left and supported Mills. Mills was human not a politician. Akufo-Addo is a politician. Mills was truthful. Politicians are not truthful. Humans are truthful. Mahama is a politician, Kufuor is a politician. All of them except Mills.”
